The evacuation of citizens of both Azerbaijan and other countries from Iran via the "Astara" border checkpoint continues.
Modern.az reports that from 08:00 on February 28 to 14:00 on March 1, 53 citizens of Azerbaijan were evacuated from Iran.
From Iran to Azerbaijan, safe passage was provided for 18 citizens of Saudi Arabia, 5 of Tajikistan, 4 of Jordan, 3 of Qatar, and 1 citizen of Italy.
It should be noted that the evacuation of more than 10 Chinese citizens from Iran to Azerbaijan is also expected. The passage of three of them has already been carried out.
