The Main State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (STPD) has appealed to moped drivers.
According to Modern.az, the appeal stated that starting from March 26, an "A1" category driving license, a vehicle registration certificate, and a state license plate will be required to operate a moped.
The appeal noted:
"Considering that little time remains until the specified date, individuals wishing to operate a moped are advised to apply in advance to the registration and examination points in their respective registration areas. All procedures are applied uniformly, and citizens are ensured convenient, efficient, and equal access to services. Individuals wishing to operate a moped are requested to take into account the specified period and to fulfill their duties in a timely manner in accordance with legislative requirements to avoid administrative liability starting from the mentioned date".
