Iran's Ministry of Agriculture has banned the export of eggs, tomatoes, and dates.

Modern.az reports that the Iran Customs Administration announced this.

It was reported that the Ministry of Agriculture has imposed a ban on the export of several products with the aim of regulating prices in the country's market under the current special circumstances.

The export ban on the mentioned products will continue indefinitely.

It should be added that Iran had also imposed a ban on potato exports yesterday.

It should be recalled that on February 17, after the second round of nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran concluded without progress, the US increased its presence in areas near Iran by deploying more than 150 aircraft to bases in Europe and the Middle East.

It should be noted that on February 26, the third round of talks between Iran and the US regarding Iran's nuclear program was held in Geneva. The meeting, held during the administration of US President Donald Trump, was considered the last chance for a diplomatic resolution of the situation. No concrete agreements were reached in the talks. Tehran refused to halt uranium enrichment, dismantle nuclear facilities, and impose indefinite restrictions on the development of its nuclear program. In the morning of February 28, Israel and the US launched airstrikes on Iran.

In the airstrikes carried out by Israel and the US on February 28, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and his family members died.

At the same time, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, Mohammad Pakpour, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ali Shamkhani, Advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh died during the airstrikes.
