Regular bus routes in various directions in Azerbaijan are put up for tender.
Modern.az reports this, citing the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
According to the information, bus routes for suburban lines numbered 102, 122, 137, 192, 195, 196, 448, 510, 512, as well as intercity routes Baku–Agjabadi, Baku–Lankaran, Baku-Shamakhi, Baku–Gabala, Sumgayit–Yalama, Sumgayit–Ismayilli, Sumgayit–Naftalan, Ganja-Barda, Ganja-Gadabay, Gadabay-Ganja, Mingachevir–Barda, Barda–Mingachevir, Mingachevir-Goychay, Mingachevir-Ganja, Agdash-Ganja, Goychay-Ganja, Barda–Zagatala, Tartar-Horadiz, Lankaran-Gazakh, Yevlakh-Zagatala, Saatli-Sumgayit, Yardimli-Baku, Yardimli-Sumgayit, Baku-Yardimli, Sumgayit-Yardimli, Yardimli-Shirvan, Agjabadi-Khankendi-Lachin, Balakan-Zagatala, Gakh-Sheki and Gakh-Zagatala, and also routes in the directions of Yalama settlement - Gusar bus station, Xanoba village - Xudat bus station, Gadili (Samukh) - Ganja (railway station), Dozular (Goygol) - Ganja (bus station), Duzqishlaq ("Shamkir" station) - Ganja (bus station), Aliushagi (Samukh) - Ganja (railway station) and Zayam Jirdakhan (Shamkir) - Ganja (bus station) are put up for tender.
The tender is organized in accordance with the Law "On Motor Transport" and the "Rules for Holding a Tender for the Involvement of Carriers in Passenger Transportation on Regular Intra-city (Intra-district), Intercity (Inter-district) and International Routes by Motor Transport" approved by Decision No. 52 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated April 3, 2009.
Documents will be accepted until 17:00 on March 31, 2026, at the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (address: Baku city, Hacı Məmmədov street 5; contact person: Anar Məmmədov (Mob 077-455-99-06, e-mail: anar.məmmə[email protected])).
It should be noted that, in addition to main buses, reserve vehicles must also be submitted for the tender. The commission will review the applicants' proposals for 11 lots in the directions of Baku–Agjabadi, Baku–Lankaran, Baku-Shamakhi, Baku–Gabala, Sumgayit–Yalama, Sumgayit–Ismayilli, Sumgayit–Naftalan, Ganja-Barda and Ganja-Gadabay on April 14; for 11 lots in the directions of Gadabay-Ganja, Mingachevir–Barda, Barda–Mingachevir, Mingachevir-Goychay, Mingachevir-Ganja, Agdash-Ganja, Goychay-Ganja, Barda–Zagatala and Tartar-Horadiz on April 17; for 13 lots in the directions of Lankaran-Gazakh, Yevlakh-Zagatala, Saatli-Sumgayit, Yardimli-Baku, Yardimli-Sumgayit, Baku-Yardimli, Sumgayit-Yardimli, Yardimli-Shirvan, Agjabadi-Khankendi-Lachin and Balakan-Zagatala on April 21; for 9 lots for suburban bus routes in the directions of Yalama settlement - Gusar bus station, Xanoba village - Xudat bus station, as well as route No. 102 ("20 Yanvar" metro station (M.Hasanov street) - Khojasan settlement (Moscow State University)), route No. 137 (Elchin Hasanli street (Masazir village) - Baku International Bus Terminal Complex), route No. 195 (Alat settlement – "Absheron" shopping center), route No. 512 (Ashagi Guzdak settlement - Mushfiqabad settlement), route No. 122 (Mashtaga settlement - Ramana settlement ("Shusha city" residential complex)), route No. 192 (Gobustan intra-settlement), route No. 196 (Cheyildag settlement - Sahil settlement) on April 24; and for 9 lots for suburban bus routes No. 448 (Mardakan settlement - Shuvalan settlement (Mayak gardens)), No. 510 (Chayli village - Mushfiqabad settlement), intercity routes Gakh-Sheki and Gakh-Zagatala, and routes Gadili (Samukh) - Ganja (railway station), Dozular (Goygol) - Ganja (bus station), Duzqishlaq ("Shamkir" station) - Ganja (bus station), Aliushagi (Samukh) - Ganja (railway station), Zayam Jirdakhan (Shamkir) - Ganja (bus station) on April 28.

Intercity (inter-district) and intra-city (intra-district) route lines are submitted for tender in a phased manner in accordance with legislative requirements. The purpose is to increase the quality, safety, and comfort of services provided in the field of passenger transportation.
