This year, we expect the start of production from the deep gas layers of the “Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli” field.
Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev stated this during his speech at the 12th meeting of ministers within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 4th meeting of ministers within the framework of the Green Energy Advisory Council.
“Within two to three years, we expect the start of the full-scale development phase of the “Absheron” field, which will triple gas production from “Absheron”. At the same time, the start of gas production for the second phase of the “Umid” field is expected”, - added the head of our state, that in 2028, we expect the start of production for the new phase of “Shah Deniz”. All mentioned production profiles will allow for obtaining an additional 10-15 billion cubic meters of gas at maximum production levels.
