Claims regarding social media phenomenon Bayram Nurlu's membership in the Democratic Enlightenment Party have resurfaced.
Modern.az contacted Bayram Nurlu to clarify the matter.
In his statement to our website, he stated that the claims spread about him are false:
"Once a year, they share about me, claiming I have joined some party. I neither know Elshan Musayev nor have I joined his party. I have no intention of joining that party. I have no party affiliation whatsoever. I only came to know Elshan Musayev after seeing the post claiming I had joined his party".
It should be recalled that the chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party is Elshan Musayev, a deputy of the Milli Majlis.
