The number of deputy heads of executive power in the cities of Lankaran, Shaki, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, and Shirvan has been reduced.
Modern.az reports that the number of deputy head positions in these executive authorities has been reduced from 4 to 3.
According to the information, new positions for the deputy heads of executive power in the aforementioned cities have been determined in connection with the new structural change:
First Deputy Head,
Deputy Head – Head of the Territorial-Organizational and Socio-Political Affairs Department,
Deputy Head – Head of the Socio-Economic, Architectural-Construction Issues, and Urban Economy Department.
It should be recalled that previously, one of the deputies of these city executive heads served as First Deputy Head, while others held the positions of Head of the Urban Economy Department, Head of the Socio-Economic Development Analysis and Forecasting Department, and Head of the Socio-Political and Humanitarian Affairs Department.
It should be noted that in the executive power of Baku, the country's largest city, there are only four deputy head positions. As for the cities with the most deputy executive heads, their number is two. Specifically, in the Sumgayit and Ganja City Executive Authorities, the number of deputy head positions is five. In the 12 districts of the capital and most districts of the country, the number of deputy executive head positions is three. In the Naftalan City Executive Authority, however, the position of First Deputy Head does not exist, and there are only two deputy positions.
