In the last 10 days, stones have been thrown 5 times at moving passenger trains of "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC (ADY).
Modern.az reports that ADY has released information on this matter.
According to the information, as a result of these acts of vandalism, cracks and damages have occurred on the windows and bodies of the trains. The aforementioned incidents are being investigated in order to give a proper legal assessment and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
"Every stone thrown is aimed not only at the train, but also at the train crew and passengers going home, to work, to school, to a meeting – at human life. We once again call for refraining from committing such acts of vandalism and for protecting the trains, which are the property of all of us," the statement said.
