Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev commented on the drone attack on the airport in Iran's city of Nakhchivan.
Modern.az reports that Kazakh President's press secretary Aybek Smadiyarov said that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev strongly condemns this act against brotherly, allied Azerbaijan.
“At the same time, the head of state expressed hope for a comprehensive investigation of the incident jointly with Iran, as well as for the resolution of the conflict situation through diplomatic means to prevent an escalation of tension in the region,” - Aybek Smadiyarov emphasized.
