On March 7, a yellow warning was issued regarding the expected windy weather conditions in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, in Khizi, Shabran, Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Siyazan, Neftchala, Salyan, Kalbajar, Lachin, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Ganja, Goygol, Samukh, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Goranboy, Naftalan, Yevlakh, Tartar, Barda and Mingachevir, Shirvan, Lerik, Yardimli, a northwest wind will blow in accordance with the yellow warning, and the wind speed will be 13.9-20.7 m/san.
