Passenger transportation between Nakhchivan and Iğdır is carried out by special buses.

As is known, flights at Nakhchivan International Airport have been temporarily suspended. In order to organize the travels of Azerbaijani citizens from the capital to Nakhchivan and in the opposite direction, flights are organized from Baku to Iğdır, Turkey. The transportation of passengers from Iğdır to Nakhchivan and in the opposite direction is carried out free of charge by specially allocated buses by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
Thus, transportation from Nakhchivan Bus Terminal to Iğdır Airport and in the opposite direction is carried out by 7 large-capacity buses. At the same time, reserve vehicles have also been allocated for transportation.
Within two days, a total of 11 trips were carried out, and 450 people were transported from Nakhchivan to Iğdır and in the opposite direction. Specifically, on March 5, 162 people were transported from Nakhchivan to Iğdır via 4 trips, and 98 people from Iğdır to Nakhchivan via 3 trips. On March 6, 190 people were transported from Nakhchivan to Iğdır via 4 trips. The process is ongoing.
