Operational and preventive measures aimed at detecting and seizing illegally stored firearms and ammunition by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are being continued.

Information regarding this was provided to Modern.az by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was reported that on March 7 and 8, police officers discovered and seized 4 automatic weapons, 5 grenades, 4 detonators, 14 rifles, 3 magazines, and 91 cartridges of various calibers in the capital and various districts of the republic.
