In connection with the events taking place in the Middle East region, another evacuation flight from Muscat, Oman, to Baku is being carried out for the return of Azerbaijani citizens remaining in the region, including the United Arab Emirates, to the country.
This was reported to Modern.az by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL).
It was stated that AZAL's "Boeing 787 Dreamliner" aircraft operating on the Muscat–Baku route is expected to land at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the coming hours. A total of approximately 200 Azerbaijani citizens are planned to return safely to the country via this flight.
Currently, AZAL, as the national air carrier of the country, ensures the safe and scheduled execution of flights in accordance with the procedures established by relevant state bodies.
