Humanitarian aid sent from Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran has reached the “Astara” state border crossing point.
Modern.az reports that the humanitarian aid was brought to the border crossing point by vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The humanitarian aid includes approximately 30 tons of food products, including 10 tons of flour, 6 tons of rice, 2.4 tons of sugar, over 4 tons of drinking water, approximately 600 kilograms of tea, as well as approximately 2 tons of medicines and medical supplies.
Currently, vehicles loaded with humanitarian aid are being dispatched from the “Astara” state border crossing point.
It should be noted that the humanitarian aid was organized to support the existing needs of the neighboring and friendly Iranian people following a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian on March 8.(AzərTac)
