Representatives of the Netherlands Embassy located in Iran have been evacuated.
Modern.az reports that the ambassador and embassy staff crossed the border and safely entered the territory of Azerbaijan via the “Astara” state border checkpoint.
The evacuation process was carried out with the completion of relevant document checks, registration, and other procedures, and all necessary measures were taken at the border crossing point to ensure a safe passage.
After the registration procedures, they were safely dispatched to their destination points.
At the “Astara” state border checkpoint, the evacuation process continues uninterrupted, and passages are carried out under the control of relevant authorities in accordance with established procedures. (AzerTac)
