The acceptance of the final applications for the use of lands for cultivation purposes in Zabukh village of Lachin district is commencing.
Modern.az reports that the acceptance of applications is carried out through the Electronic Agricultural Information System (EKTİS) - eagro.az website. The process of accepting final applications from residents settled and living in Zabukh village will continue until the end of the day on March 16, 2026.
The provision of agricultural lands for cultivation purposes in Zabukh village will be carried out in accordance with paragraph 4.1 of Decree No. 236 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 27, 2024, and the “Rules for Leasing Agricultural Lands in the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Village and Settlement Residents on Concessional Terms” approved by Decision No. 544 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 26, 2024.
The land plots are rain-fed (non-irrigated) areas, comprising a minimum of 5 ha, located around the village and prepared for cultivation. In these villages, it is planned to cultivate wheat, barley, peas, potatoes, fodder crops such as alfalfa, sainfoin, and various grass mixtures, which are characteristic of rain-fed areas.
Residents relocating to Zabukh village can apply for the use of lands for cultivation purposes on concessional terms by following the sequence below:
Registering in EKTİS (obtaining an automated farmer's electronic cabinet)
Filling out the application form by selecting “land lease application” – “Zabukh” in the “My Applications” section of the electronic cabinet.
Registering the actual place of residence as Zabukh village in the “e-polis” application of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, regardless of the registration address on the identity card.
It should be noted that the signing of contracts with applicants, the conduct of training, and on-site familiarization with the areas will take place in late October-early November. The duration of lease agreements will be 2 years for annual crops and fodder crops and will be extended based on the results of use.
