On March 11, a round table was held at the YAP Samukh district organization with the participation of chairpersons of territorial party organizations and party activists on the topic of “National Statehood and Azerbaijanism in Heydar Aliyev's Policy”.
Modern.az reports that, the event participants first commemorated the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of our lands with a minute of silence.
Gunduz Bayramov, Chairman of the YAP Samukh district organization, who delivered the opening speech, stated that the political course defined by Heydar Aliyev constitutes an important stage in the history of modern Azerbaijani statehood. The establishment of independent Azerbaijan on solid foundations, the protection of national interests, and the development of statehood traditions are precisely the result of the National Leader's far-sighted policy. The statehood ideology founded by Heydar Aliyev continues to be one of the main directions of the country's development strategy today. G. Bayramov stated that the political course defined by the National Leader is successfully continued today. As a result of this policy, Azerbaijan has become one of the leading states in the region, and stability and sustainable development have been ensured in the country.
Then, Lala Mammadova, an employee of the YAP Samukh district organization, delivered a report on the topic of “National Statehood and Azerbaijanism in Heydar Aliyev's Policy”. The report emphasized that the ideology of Azerbaijanism holds significant importance for the protection of our people's national and moral values, and for strengthening national unity and solidarity.
Subsequently, party activists Tahmina Nasibova, Elvar Safarov, Samra Masimzade, Maral Orujova, and Elnaz Jafarova, speaking on the report, noted that Heydar Aliyev's political legacy holds a special place in the history of Azerbaijani statehood. The speeches also particularly emphasized that strengthening national statehood ideas, educating the younger generation in a patriotic spirit, and promoting the ideology of Azerbaijanism remain among the main tasks today. Finally, it was noted that the ideas of national statehood and Azerbaijanism defined by Heydar Aliyev maintain their relevance in the modern era and continue to play an important role in the future development of our country.
