In February, 5875 applications regarding the acquisition (extension) of a temporary residence permit and 481 applications regarding the acquisition (extension) of a permanent residence permit were received by the State Migration Service in the country.
Information on this was provided by the State Migration Service in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
It was also reported that during the relevant period, 849 applications were received regarding the acquisition and extension of work permits for foreigners and stateless persons to engage in paid labor activity in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the information, last month, a total of 108 decisions were made by the State Migration Service regarding administrative expulsion from the country's borders due to violations of migration legislation.
