On March 12, a telephone conversation was held between Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

It was noted that the ministers discussed the current regional security situation, the escalating military escalation in the Middle East, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation.
The existing strategic cooperation relations were highly appreciated, and plans for future contacts were reviewed.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
