The Prime Minister spoke about the Second State Program on the Great Return.
Modern.az reports that, while presenting the Cabinet of Ministers' report in parliament, he stated that, in accordance with the task in the Decree signed by the country's President on May 30, 2025, the draft of the "Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2027-2030 and the Second State Program on the Great Return," which will cover new challenges and targets, has been prepared and discussed in the Economic Council. The draft of both documents has already been submitted to the President by the Government.
"The implementation of the National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development and the Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2022-2026 prepared on its basis, as well as the First State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories, is currently successfully continuing.
Indicators for the end of 2025 once again prove that the economic and social governance model formed by President Ilham Aliyev is based on the efficient management of oil revenues, the development of the non-oil sector, the improvement of human welfare, and the strengthening of the state's strategic power. The existing economic growth base, in turn, creates favorable conditions for productivity, export of services, and technology-based deepening" - he noted.
