Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev met with the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Ambassador Eduard Stiprais.

The Assistant to the President noted that effective discussions on regional cooperation were held during the meeting, and special attention was paid to the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and TRIPP projects.
Hikmat Hajiyev emphasized that considering Azerbaijan's full membership in the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, significant opportunities for cooperation exist within this format.
