Based on calls received by the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), emergency rescue operations were carried out by the relevant agencies of the Ministry during the past week for 219 fire incidents and 37 cases of being in a helpless situation.
According to information provided by the MES Press Service to Modern.az, as a result of urgent and immediate measures taken, the prompt extinguishing of fires and the saving of human lives were ensured.
In total, by the forces of the MES during the past week, 48 people, including 15 minors, were rescued, 8 people were evacuated, 1 person was injured, 1 person suffered from smoke poisoning, and the p of 1 person was found behind a closed door.
