In Nakhchivan, a person committing cyber fraud under the guise of a loan has been detained.
According to information provided by the Nakhchivan Ministry of Internal Affairs to Modern.az, an operational measure was carried out in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic by police officers regarding a cyber fraud incident committed against citizens.
Based on received complaints, as a result of operational-technical measures carried out, 21-year-old Elnara Bunyatova, suspected of committing the incident, was detained.
Investigations revealed that E. Bunyatova, presenting herself as a bank employee, using numbers 070-767-56-96, 077-351-95-76, 070-935-75-65, 077-104-44-08, 077-349-96-82 and others, as well as through pages named “ *azturan83* ”, “ *turanbank_az* ”, “ *azeturanbank* ” and “ *krediagro* ” on the “TikTok” platform, deceived nearly 50 individuals with the promise of providing loans to citizens and committed acts of embezzlement.
Regarding the incident, investigations are ongoing.
