Modern.az reports, citing "Khazar News", that due to the tensions in the region creating logistical difficulties, the prices of automotive spare parts imported to Azerbaijan, especially from Dubai, have increased. According to entrepreneurs, difficulties have arisen particularly in the supply of p and undercarriage parts for Chinese and and American-made cars from Dubai. This has led to a decrease in these products in the market and an increase in prices by approximately 50-150 manats.
Entrepreneurs state that due to the tensions in the Middle East, serious problems have arisen in the movement of ships loaded with spare parts. Alternative routes, in turn, automatically affect prices.
Furthermore, the suspension of direct flights has also made it difficult to bring products into the country. As a result, parts are transported to Azerbaijan via other countries, which means additional costs.
Entrepreneurs state that if the shortage of some parts in the market continues, further price increases are possible in the coming months.
