Information was received by the police regarding stones being thrown at a high-speed train operating on the Baku-Sumgayit route while in motion, and its window being damaged.
Information regarding this was provided to Modern.az by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was reported that, as a result of measures taken by employees of the Police Department for Railway Transport, four teenagers suspected of committing the act were identified. They were invited to the police department along with their parents. Preventive talks were held with the teenagers, and the danger that these actions could create was brought to their attention.
It should be noted once again that when stones are thrown at a train, this poses a serious threat to the lives of passengers and train personnel. In many cases, delays occur in the schedule, and this results in passengers arriving late at their destination.
