Modern.az reports that the "Times of Israel" newspaper wrote about this, citing an Israeli official.

The attack was first reported by "Iran International" and was confirmed by an Israeli official shortly thereafter.

The report states that Israel is still investigating the consequences of the attack - whether intelligence minister Esmail Khatib survived.
