The Prime Minister of Armenia has become a subject of serious discussion in recent days due to certain actions. For instance, against the backdrop of the Iran-Israel conflict and serious geopolitical and geostrategic processes occurring at a global level, the Armenian Prime Minister's eating corn and pirozhki, and playing the drums during his visit to Georgia, are not being received unambiguously.
Pashinyan's actions are often evaluated as role-playing or PR for his political image. However, some believe this to be his natural character.
In a statement to Modern.az, political scientist Elkhan Shahinoglu stated that Pashinyan's actions are calculated for the upcoming parliamentary elections:
"Nikol Pashinyan's eating pirozhki, playing the drums, singing songs, visiting shops, and walking on foot are calculated for the parliamentary elections to be held in June. This is because Pashinyan's popularity and rating have decreased. Therefore, the Prime Minister is trying to show that he is simple and no different from an ordinary citizen to increase his popularity. Why did such instances not occur before? Because there were no elections, Pashinyan did not need such PR. However, in the current circumstances, he needs PR. He is trying to demonstrate his simplicity to increase the number of his voters."

The political scientist also spoke about Pashinyan's expectations from the elections:
"Overall, looking at the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, the probability of Pashinyan's party winning again is high. Yes, despite this, we may observe that the Prime Minister cannot garner as many votes as before. Simply put, Pashinyan's goal is different. He wants to gather enough votes to form a government independently, meaning there would be no need for any coalition."
