On February 28, strikes launched by Israel and the United States on Iranian territory led to the outbreak of a new war in the Middle East. Today marks the 6th day of the confrontation.
In recent days, Iran has suffered significant losses in terms of both military equipment and personnel. Since the start of joint operations by the United States and Israel, at least 1114 people are reported to have died in the country.
The war has not been limited to Iran and Israel. Tehran has launched missile and drone strikes against various countries in the region, ostensibly targeting US military bases.

Azerbaijan
On March 5, 2026, Iran launched a drone strike on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. According to the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, 4 people were injured as a result of the drone attacks and were admitted to the Emergency Medical Aid Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital. The injured are receiving necessary medical assistance, and their condition is under medical supervision.
Following the incident, security measures at the airport were strengthened, and employees from relevant agencies were deployed to the area.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan shares direct land borders with Iran.
Turkey
Another country sharing land borders with Iran, Turkey, has also been subjected to attacks by this country. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced that a ballistic missile moving towards the country's airspace from Iran was neutralized.
According to the information, the missile was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense forces located in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Iraq
Iran also carried out attacks in the territory of Iraq, located to its west.
One of the main targets of the missile and drone strikes was Erbil International Airport. Facilities where US military forces are stationed were targeted there.
Qatar
Qatar is also one of the neighboring countries subjected to Iranian strikes. Here, Iran struck Al Udeid Air Base, the largest US military base in the Middle East, the Ras Laffan industrial zone, and the Mesaieed energy infrastructure.
United Arab Emirates
In the United Arab Emirates, Al Dhafra Air Base, some targets around Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Jebel Ali Port, and other facilities became targets for Iranian drones and missiles.
Kuwait
Iran also carried out a series of air attacks in Kuwait. Here, it struck Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait International Airport, and Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base.
Bahrain
Bahrain also became a target of Iranian attacks after February 28. During Iran's missile strikes, some facilities in Manama, where the headquarters of the US 5th Fleet is located, were damaged.
Saudi Arabia
Iran has also targeted Saudi Arabia at various times. Military facilities around Riyadh, Sultan Air Base, and King Khalid International Airport were struck by Iran.
