During protest rallies held in Tabriz, an Azerbaijani footballer was killed.
Modern.az reports, citing social media, that during anti-government protests in South Azerbaijan, the repressive forces of the Ali Khamenei regime killed prominent Azerbaijani footballer Mojtaba Tarshsiz, who played for the famous "Tractor" team, along with his wife.
The "Tractor" midfielder joined the protests with his wife and was killed by gunfire on the street.
