Obtaining Russian citizenship for Azerbaijanis is being made difficult

Russia complicates the procedure for granting citizenship.

Modern.az reports, citing local media, that according to the newly approved law, migrants who have committed crimes in their own countries will be denied Russian citizenship and residence permits.

Migrants will also be required to submit a certificate of criminal record when applying for citizenship and obtain the relevant document from foreigners.
