Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, received Major General Ersin Dinçer, the newly appointed military attaché of the Republic of Turkey to our country.
Modern.az reports that the Minister of Defense greeted the Turkish guest and congratulated him on commencing his activities in our country.
Colonel General Z. Hasanov emphasized that Azerbaijan-Turkey relations are based on friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance, and highlighted their development in military cooperation, as in other areas, wishing the new military attaché success in his future activities towards further enhancing this cooperation.
Major General E. Dinçer, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality shown, and stated that he was proud to commence his activities as a military attaché in Azerbaijan. He affirmed his commitment to diligently work towards further developing military cooperation between our countries.
During the meeting, which was also attended by Major General Gaffar Gören, who concluded his military attaché activities in Azerbaijan, new prospects for cooperation in military, military-technical, military-educational, and other fields, as well as a wide exchange of views on a number of issues of mutual interest, were held.
