NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Russian missiles pose a threat not only to Eastern European countries but to the entire alliance.
According to Modern.az, he said this at a press conference held regarding the launch of the “Guardian of the East” operation.
“Some people think that living in London or Madrid is safer than in Tallinn. This is not the case.”
According to Rutte, Russia's new generation hypersonic missiles exceed the speed of sound five times:
“They reach Madrid or London only 5–10 minutes later than Tallinn or Vilnius.”
The NATO Secretary General added that alliance members should perceive the situation as if all states are located on the eastern front.
