A pre-trial detention measure has been imposed against Georgia's former Minister of Defense, Juansher Burchuladze, who is accused of abuse of official powers and legalization of illegal proceeds.
Modern.az reports that with this, judge Eka Barbakadze granted the prosecution's motion.
Previously, the defense had submitted a motion to the court regarding his release on bail, but the judge had not granted it.
