Former Polish President Andrzej Duda commented on Russian drones entering his country's airspace.
Modern.az reports that he spoke about this on RMF FM.
Speaking about the reasons for the drone raid, the former Polish president considered two possible scenarios:
"Currently, I do not have access to state secrets, I have not attended the meetings called by the president, but there are potentially two options. Either the Russians carried out this action within the framework of the "Zapad" exercises, and these were one-off exercises testing our defense capabilities and NATO solidarity, or, unfortunately, we are facing a very serious situation. This means that we are witnessing the beginning of a new version of a hybrid attack against Poland that has been ongoing since 2021."
"We did not have the opportunity to respond to this drone attack more effectively, so we had to scramble the aircraft," - the former president said.
