More than 70 people have died during mass riots in Nepal.
According to news reported by Modern.az, citing the "Nepal News" portal, local authorities have released information on this matter.
"A total of 72 people have died. An additional 191 injured individuals are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country," stated government spokesperson Eknarayan Aryal.
According to him, the deaths occurred during protest actions held on September 8, as well as as a result of fires and riots that took place on September 9.
