The Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Navy has started command and staff exercises in the Caspian Sea.
Modern.az reports that, according to the press service of the Flotilla, more than 15 warships, as well as aircraft and coastal missile systems, have been involved in the exercises.
In the practical part, the defense of support areas and maritime economic activity zones in the Caspian Sea, and the practice of actions to repel attacks by unmanned boats and unmanned aerial vehicles are planned.
In total, more than 25 combat exercises involving the practical application of weapons are envisaged.
