President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of Iran and Pakistan accelerating and facilitating the implementation of mutual agreements.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha.

Modern.az, citing Iranian media, reports that during the meeting, emphasis was placed on the diverse and significant potential for cooperation between the two nations, particularly border cooperation, and it was stated that the realization of these opportunities would be beneficial for both countries and the wider region.

Pezeshkian, emphasizing Pakistan's historical role in assisting its Muslim brethren, noted that the only way to confront the cruel actions of the Israeli regime is through the unity of Islamic nations, a unified stance, and practical measures.

In turn, Prime Minister Sharif affirmed his personal commitment to monitoring the implementation of all agreements between the two countries. He noted that he has given instructions to relevant government officials to accelerate and facilitate the development of cooperation.

Sharif also addressed the ongoing and escalating crimes committed by the Israeli regime, stating that Islamic countries must demonstrate a coherent and unified stance against these atrocities. He called for collective action among Islamic nations to prevent the recurrence of such aggressions.
