From September 23 to 25, Russia's border guard ship will visit Baku port. The program includes contacts between the border services of Russia and Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova at a briefing.
“The border guard ship “Rasul Gamzatov” belonging to the Russian Federal Security Service will visit Baku port from September 23 to 25. The visit is part of the approved bilateral cooperation plans. The program includes contacts between the border services of Russia and Azerbaijan, primarily for discussing bilateral cooperation in the Caspian Sea,” she said.
According to Zakharova, the visit of Russian border guards to Baku attests to mutual commitments to continue cooperation in the field of security and strengthen practical cooperation in the Caspian region.
