An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 was recorded near the eastern coast of Kamchatka (Russia).

 

Modern.az reports that the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre released information about this.

 

According to the information, the epicenter of the tremors was located 125 km northeast of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and its focus was at a depth of 40 km.
