A meeting will be held between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his US counterpart Donald Trump on September 25 in Washington.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish leader spoke about this at a press conference he held at Atatürk Airport before departing for the USA.
He noted that regional issues would be at the forefront of his meeting with Trump.
"A great responsibility falls on us leaders in reducing conflict and tension in our region," Erdoğan stated.
He also emphasized that he would hold meetings in New York with a number of heads of state and government and businesspeople.
