An extraordinary congress of Turkey's opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) has been held.
Modern.az reports, citing "TRT Haber", that elections for the party chairmanship took place at the congress.
According to the results of the vote, the current chairman Özgür Özel was re-elected as the party leader, having won 835 votes out of 917 electors (82 votes were deemed invalid).
He had participated in the election as the sole candidate.
