Portugal has recognized the state of Palestine.

Modern.az reports that the decision was announced by the republic's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel.

It should be noted that on September 21, Great Britain, Canada, and Australia announced their recognition of the state of Palestine.

It should be recalled that on September 22, a conference dedicated to the recognition of Palestine at the UN will be held in France.
