The UN has reinstated sanctions against Iran.
Modern.az reports on this, citing the "Kommersant" publication.
The restrictions include, among other things, the freezing of Iran's foreign assets, a ban on the production of any nuclear technology, and the reinstatement of the arms embargo.
It should be noted that the mechanism for reinstating sanctions was activated a month ago by Great Britain, Germany, and France.
The countries accused Tehran of persistently failing to comply with its obligations within the framework of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which regulates Iran's nuclear program.
