Russian President Vladimir Putin's invitation to US President Donald Trump remains in effect, after which the American side must make its own decisions.
Modern.az reports that this was stated to "TASS" by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov when answering a question about whether the invitation remains in effect.
"This is a standing invitation. Putin is ready to meet President Trump and would be pleased to do so. Everything depends on Trump's decision", - the Kremlin spokesman stated.
After talks with Trump in Anchorage in August, Putin proposed holding the next meeting in Moscow. Although the American leader considered this possible, he admitted that he would be criticized for it.
