US President Donald Trump does not object to Ukraine striking deep into Russia with American weapons.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Trump's special representative Kit Kellogg in an interview with "Fox News" television channel.
According to Kellogg, considering the statements of the President, Vice President James Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, it can be said that the Trump administration has given its consent for Ukraine to launch long-range strikes on Russian territory.
He noted that a decision regarding the provision of “Tomahawk”-type missiles by the US to Kyiv has not yet been made. “There is no final decision on this matter,” Trump's representative noted.
It should be recalled that previously, Trump, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, did not rule out that restrictions on Kyiv's use of long-range American weapons could be lifted. However, the US leader has so far refrained from making a direct commitment in this regard.
