Iran's 7-year unbroken oil production record has been renewed.
Modern.az reports, citing Iranian media, that Energy Minister Paknejad stated this in his announcement.
According to him, as a result of work carried out in the country's oil fields, the record related to oil production has been renewed.
A significant increase in production has been achieved thanks to domestic drilling, technical maintenance and repair of wells, and the commissioning of a part of the “Azadeqan” field for production.
Paknejad said, "We succeeded in restoring the production record established in the last seven years."
"Thanks to well-planned domestic drilling operations by our oil and mining teams and the improvement of surface facilities, we have increased production. Furthermore, a part of the operational capacity of the "Azadeqan" field has been put into operation. All these factors have led to a noticeable increase in production," the minister stated.
