A transport connection that will enable unhindered transportation between the western regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is of importance and will yield beneficial results for all countries in the region.
Modern.az reports that this view was reflected in the statement on the outcomes of the meeting of the Turkish National Security Council held in Ankara on September 30.
The members of the Security Council emphasized Turkey's will towards the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus.
The meeting participants, along with the normalization process with Armenia, also kept in focus issues such as the situation in the Middle East, Cyprus, Syria, Iraq, and the Ukraine-Russia war.
