US President Donald Trump is ready to hold talks with North Korean head of state Kim Jong Un without preconditions.
Modern.az reports that the “Yonhap” agency has reported this, citing a White House official.
It was recalled that during his first term, Trump met with the North Korean leader three times, and this contributed to the stabilization of the situation on the peninsula. According to the agency's source, since then, the US policy regarding North Korea has not changed. “President Trump is open to dialogue with Kim Jong Un without setting any conditions”, an unnamed official said.
“Yonhap” explains that this is the first time the White House clarifies that the American President does not demand preconditions.
