After his visit to Moscow, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sharply toughened his rhetoric regarding the Zangezur corridor.
According to Modern.az, this was stated by former Foreign Minister Tofiq Zulfugarov.
He noted that Pashinyan is trying to blame Azerbaijan for the non-implementation of the project.
According to Tofiq Zulfugarov, in fact, Vladimir Putin did not allow Pashinyan to take steps regarding the project initiated by US President Donald Trump.
He stated that Armenia's discussions regarding EU membership and the appearance of “distancing” from Moscow are merely imitative.
“Pashinyan was an honored guest at the Victory Parade held in Moscow on May 9 this year and will continue to faithfully perform the function of a “Засланный казачок” (a person secretly carrying out someone's orders, protecting the interests of another party - ed.) in the future”, – the former minister emphasized.
In his opinion, the Armenian Prime Minister is only interested in the issue of delimitation and demarcation of borders in the Zangezur region.
