US President Donald Trump harshly criticized Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
Modern.az reports that Trump called him "a foolish man working for Putin."
He stated that threatening the US with nuclear weapons is unacceptable.
During his speech before generals and an admiral, Trump announced that the US had sent "one or two nuclear submarines" to the Russian coast. According to him, this decision was made as "a precautionary measure." "We cannot allow people to throw the word 'nuclear' around carelessly," Trump emphasized.
Medvedev, in turn, responded to Trump's statement on social media: "It is difficult to find a black cat in a dark room, especially if there is no cat there." He called the US leader's reaction "overly nervous" and stated that Russia would continue on its path.
